I feel extremely lucky to have found Lucy.

Over the last 2 years I have tried to update my open plan living area but felt overwhelmed. The room lacked cohesion and identity.

My request was to have a family room that was practical for 2 small children but elegant and relaxed, fit for entertaining. A tall order.

I had a telephone call after sending in some pictures and it was that simple. By the time we had the call Lucy had already come up with a number of solutions and ideas. She had identified the problem areas that I was struggling with and we were on the same page. Lucy is beautifully realistic in her approach without compromising on comfort and style, perfect for a family.

 

I had a selection of furniture and styles in an easy to use format. I changed my mind on a couple of pieces and Lucy offered alternatives within a few days. The 3D design was a gift,  I could actually see the dark marble colours I thought were right for the room were too strong. It would have been an expensive and ugly mistake. Lucy was able to make an elegant and understated suggestion for tile giving a much more contemporary feel. Every detail was taken into account, she softened the room with curves rather than all right angles which added interest and charm.

 

The best bit about Lucy is how easy going and approachable she is. This goes hand in hand with how professional and accomplished she is. She has offered ongoing support while I complete the project. I would recommend this very talented person in a heartbeat.
